Scientists found that cancer causes hepatitis B

South Korean scientists in the latest study found that a generation from the hepatitis B virus protein as a result of hepatitis B in the development of cancer in the course of the reasons.

By the South Korean Dongguk University professor Jintiehu research team led by recently pointed out that the p53 protein can inhibit carcinogenesis, but their research showed that the hepatitis B virus protein produced one of the four kinds of x-type protein (HBx) in combination with the p53 protein together, inhibit p5
3 protein activities, in particular it is to cut off the p53 protein inhibit liver cancer generated messages sent by the PTEN gene, PTEN activity shrinking, and ultimately cancer.

Jintiehu professor said that so far some scientists through cell research understand the formation process of hepatitis B, but the first results of their research at the molecular level that causes liver cancer.

Jintiehu said, hepatitis B can develop into liver cirrhosis and liver cancer, but if developed to prevent x-type p53 protein and protein combination of drugs, or discover that the characteristics of PTEN gene, it is possible to find a prevention and treatment methods.
